On July 18, Wang Jianhua, Chairman of Chifeng Gold, and his delegation paid a visit to Xaysomphone Phomvihane, Member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of Laos and Chairman of the Lao National Assembly, at the Lao National Assembly Building.

Recently, Ghana Minerals Commission and Environmental Protection Agency respectively issued mining license and environmental assessment license for resumption of production in Area I of Bunso Mining Lease to Golden Star Wassa Mining, agreed to restart open-pit mining work in this area, and approved activities such as drilling and blasting, loading and transportation and open-pit infrastructure maintenance related to mining operations in this area.

On the afternoon of July 11th, Chifeng Gold LXML and Lao Mining Development State Enterprise (LMD) held a signing ceremony for cooperation of mine exploration, and both parties will work together to carry out exploration of various mining resources projects in Laos.
