On the evening of November 18, the presentation ceremony of the 6th Ghana Sustainability & Social Investment Awards (SSI) was held in Accra, the capital of Ghana. The social investment project of Golden Star Wassa Ltd., a member of Chifeng Gold Group, finally won three best awards, namely, the Best Company in Project Providing Educational Facilities 2022, the Best Company in Project Promoting Road Safety Education & Practices 2022 and the Best Company in Girl Child Education & Empowerment Program 2022.

In the 2022 Ghana Mine Performance Awards ceremony held on November 15th in Accra, Golden Star Wassa received three awards -- the first place Best Improved Mine, the second place Best Safe Mine in Safety, Health & Environmental Audit and the third place Best Mine team winning in the Inter-mines First Aid and Safety Competition.

Recently, Ghana Environmental Protection Agency and Mincom respectively issued environmental protection and mining licenses for the resumption of open-pit mining in DMH Area to Wassa Gold Mine, and Wassa Gold Mine completed and obtained all necessary legal procedures and licenses for mining in this area.

Recently, LXML, a holding subsidiary of the Company, submitted an application for rare earth exploitation right in 2.96 km2 of Sepon Mining Area of LXML to the Lao Ministry of Energy and Mines. The application has undergone the boundary verification of mining rights by the Department of Geology and Mineral Resources of the Ministry of Energy and Mines.

In the afternoon of October 16, Chifeng Gold held a training for middle-level and above managers with the theme of "Management Innovation Practice of Future Organizations".
