From June 2013 to December 2016, he served as the Director and President of Zijin Mining Group Co., Ltd.; from April 2017 to May 2018, he served as the Chairman of Yunnan Baiyao Holding Co., Ltd.; from September 2018 to December 2019, he served as the Director of Chifeng Gold; from December 2019 to the present, he has been the Chairman of Chifeng Gold. Chairman Wang has always been committed to the protection of ecological environment , and is one of the first group of people to propose eco-mining and large-scale mining in China. As a strong advovate for increaing mine reserves through exploration, he worked hard to increase the mineral resources and reserves by a significant margin while with Shandong Gold and Zijin Mining.
