On August 30, the Dandong Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources held the Awarding Ceremony of Dandong Green Mines to award “Green Mine of Liaoning Province” for eight Dandong mining enterprises including Wulong Mining.

Wulong Mining, as the key ecological and environmental protection development project strongly supported by Dandong Municipal Government, was included in the list of first batch of enterprises to be included in the Liaoning Provincial Green Mine Project Library in 2020. Since Wulong Mining established the goal of “building a large mine and increasing scale” and creating “five-star mine”, it has set up the Green Mine Construction Team and Dedicated Office, gradually established a scientific and perfect green mine management system. In the past three years, Wulong Mining has invested more than CNY 30 million in geological environment governance, restored more than 500 mu of forest land and planted more than 40,000 trees successively, with the land reclamation quality meeting the requirements of the Completion Standards on Land Reclamation Quality (TD/T1036). Wulong Mining obtained the acceptance certificate for geological environment governance and restoration of mine in November 2020.
