LXML donated $100,000 USD to the Lao Government to support in COVID-19 response. H.E. Phankham Viphavanh, the PM of Lao PDR, accepted this donation on behalf the Lao government.

Paul Harris, General Manager of LXML said, “I am happy to confirm that our donation will be used to purchase vaccinations to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in Laos. LXML is firmly committed to complying with the COVID-19 measures and controls, ensure to keep employees and communities safe from COVID-19.  

LXML has about 2,000 employees and 1,700 contractor employees, of which 95% are Laotians, from local Vilabouly district and Savannakhet Province.

LXML Sepon mine has adopted strict controls and measures, including quarantine and test before employees entering Sepon mine.

The first batch of 3,000 vaccines purchased by LXML will arrive on site today, then the Company will vaccinate for all our employees to keep employees, their families, and communities safe from COVID-19.
