Zhuanshanzi Gold Mine is operated and managed by Jilong Mining, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chifeng Gold. Located in Aohan Banner, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia, PRC, it is a gold mining enterprise with integrated mining and processing capacity, certified as a National Green Mine and a High-tech Enterprise of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
Situated within one of China's most significant giant gold metallogenic belts, the Zhuanshanzi Gold Mine holds two mining rights and one exploration right covering approximately 21.6 square kilometres. It hosts rare high-grade rich ore deposits domestically, characterised by high ore grades, low mining difficulty and low operating costs. The processing plant has an ore treatment capacity of 1,000 tonnes per day.
Low-cost cut-and-fill mining method is adopted for underground mining at Zhuanshanzi Gold Mine. The mine is fully equipped with the "six major systems", including underground monitoring, personnel positioning, communication, emergency refuge, compressed-air self-rescue and water supply rescue systems. The processing plant applies advanced and environmentally friendly all-slime cyanidation with zinc powder cementation plus tailings cyanide destruction technology. Jointly developed by the Company and research institutions in 2019, this technology was awarded the Second Prize of Science and Technology by the China Gold Association.
